Welcome to a new year for your Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce. Our A.G.M was held on Wednesday 30th April 2008, with election of the new office bearers.  I thank the attending members for their faith in me in electing me as your new President along with Michelle Kramer as Vice- President and co-ordinator and a few old names continue as well, which is good for continuity.

Cheryl Springer was elected as a Membership Officer to keep you all up to date as you renew your membership which is now due for the next 12 months. We have decided to reduce fees to $70 per year or $120 for 2 years to help small businesses become members and we hope the Chamber has something to offer everyone over the next 12 months.  Any suggestions will be appreciated by your new committee.

We have also decided to turn committee meetings each month into Breakfast Forums where every member is invited to attend, to network, offer suggestions and contribute to your Pine Rivers Chamber. They are being held at “The Coffee Club” Gympie Road, Strathpine with a light breakfast and coffee.  Forums will commence at 7:30am for approximately 1 hour but you can leave when you need to.

I am looking forward to meeting with you and growing our Chamber into an even bigger and more effective one.
